In Italy Plastic Straws Are Being Replaced With Pasta Straws In Order To Reduce Plastic Waste

Ever since McDonald’s removed plastic straws from its restaurants and subbed in paper straws, the straw debate seems to be never-ending.

When the world is searching for ways to reduce plastic waste, pasta straws might be one of the answers. An Italian symbol is making headlines as a possible solution to a huge environmental problem. Some bars in Italy have decided to stop using paper straws by replacing them with pasta straws.

Their technology amazes the world another time!

There is actually a company called Stroodles that sells pasta straws. You can order pasta straws from Stroodles, who specialize in straws made from wheat and water that are 100% vegan and biodegradable. They also last for up to an hour – just don’t use them to drink your tea or coffee.
