“What would Dolly Parton’s rooftop have looked like in 1980?”
If, like Dolly Parton, you’ve been workin’ 9-5 and are in need of some major R&R, then we know just the spot to unwind – and it’s themed around the great Tennessee singer herself. And now country music fans are going to have one more reason to visit Nashville as an incredible Dolly Parton-themed rooftop bar has just opened up.
The drinking spot, which has both indoor and outdoor areas, is covered in bright color, with hot pink umbrellas to protect customers from the sun and pink day beds to lounge on with a magenta-hued cocktail in hand.
If that weren’t enough, there’s also a swimming pool to cool off in and a giant chicken wire sculpture of Dolly Parton’s head, which you can pose for photos with.
A brand new bar inspired by country music legend Dolly Parton opened last week on the roof of the 12-story Graduate Hotel in midtown Nashville, steps from Vanderbilt University, and lower Broadway.

CNN reports that the White Limozeen opened on top of Nashville’s Graduate Hotel. It has bright pink walls, an onyx wraparound bar, glittery chandeliers, and a giant pink chicken-wire sculpture of Parton.
The bar was named after a Parton album, and the idea for the venue came from Graduate Hotels CEO and founder Ben Weprin.
The newly opened, indoor-outdoor space, named after a song and album of Parton’s, represents the glitzy pinnacle of a thematic voyage at the 12-story Midtown hotel, said Graduate Hotels CEO and founder Ben Weprin. He’s the one who came up with the Dolly idea.
Named White Limozeen after Dolly Parton’s song and album released in May 1989, the indoor-outdoor space does not shy away from color.

“We have a character in every hotel,” he said. “Here, it’s a country girl who moves to the city and makes it big.” It even has a “9 to 5″ suite, which features a waterbed.
CNN reported some items on its drink menu include, champagne Jell-O shots and Frozen Aperol Spritz. As for food, it offers white bread burgers and biscuits and caviar, as well as a host of other items. The hotel said it has COVID-19 protocols in place.
While the bar is styled after Parton, she’s not the only musician represented. It also includes a life-size picture of Eric Church.
White Limozeen aims to be “over-the-top” and “elegant,” yet “inviting” at the same time, Graduate Hotels CEO and Founder Ben Weprin said in a statement.

The hotel’s website describes the establishment as an “experience”, while over on Instagram the bar’s bio says it’s “Fancy-ish” with a “playful menu”.
The hotel site reads: “Join us at our over-the-top, indoor-outdoor rooftop bar and restaurant located atop Graduate Nashville. Take in skyline views as you lounge by the Governor’s Pool under a bright pink umbrella, or pull up a seat indoors at the rosy onyx bar.
“Developed by Chef de Cuisine Chris Lewallen, the menu features homestyle renditions of traditionally French presentations. At the bar, you’ll find poolside-friendly cocktails designed by Demi Natoli — such as the Queen of the Rodeo.”

“We wanted it to feel really approachable and really feasible for everyone to be there, everyone to have a good time, whether you’re drinking a can of Natty Light, or you’re ordering caviar,” developer Marc Rose told USA Today.
Inside, guests can order poolside-friendly cocktails with names like “Queen of the Rodeo” from a gold-lined circular onyx bar, or lounge under chandeliers on plush pink coaches while dining on small plates like “Trout Fritters with Almondine Dip” and “Biscuits and Caviar.”
The bar is currently open daily by reservation only.

The 205-room Graduate Nashville reopened on July 1 after closing in March due to the pandemic, and the rooftop is not the only place in the hotel to pay homage to Parton.
Its presidential suite is named “9 to 5” after another one of Parton’s iconic songs and boasts pink shag rugs as well as Parton concert posters and other vintage memorabilia.
